Integrate Arketa with Kisi

The Arketa and Kisi integration enables automatic door access control for fitness studios. Members can unlock doors through your custom Arketa mobile app when they check in, providing seamless access based on their membership status and class bookings.

Prerequisites

• Kisi organization administrator rights
• Arketa account with a custom Arketa app
• Kisi Controller Pro 2

The Kisi integration requires a custom Arketa app. Standard Arketa apps do not support Kisi integration.

Generate a Kisi API key

You need to have organization administrator or organization owner rights to create an API key. We recommend creating API keys from the organization owner's account, to avoid the API key becoming invalid when an organization admin loses their admin rights.

1. Sign in to Kisi
2. On the top right corner, click on your name and click on My Account
3. Next, select the API tab and click on Add API Key
4. Enter your name, your Kisi password, and your verification code and click Add
5. Copy the API key shown on the screen and click Close

Set up the integration

1. Sign in to your Arketa dashboard
2. Navigate to Settings > Integrations
3. Click on Kisi
4. Enter your Kisi API key
5. Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the setup

Configure check-in settings in Arketa

Before members can use the integration, you need to enable check-in features in Arketa:

1. Navigate to Settings > General Business Settings
2. Enable Client Check-In
3. Enable Gym Check-In

After enabling check-in, you'll need to configure your price options to control which members can access your facility, and members will be able to unlock doors through your custom Arketa mobile app. For detailed configuration instructions, refer to Arketa's Kisi integration guide.
